Lastly, the workshop may be postponed or cancelled by the organizers due to severe weather, facilitator illness or emergency, or other extreme unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event of workshop cancellation, the registration fee will be fully refunded to all participants. The organizers are not responsible for participant costs of travel arrangements or any other expenses incurred.
Statement of Inclusivity and Belonging
We need each other. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens within the context of healthy relationships. As we learn to bring more compassion and collaboration to our most intimate relationships, we also work to bring the power of relational living to all of our interactions. These workshops are a place where all humans are valued, honored, and welcomed. You belong here, just as you are. I commit to provide a space of inclusivity and belonging for you to work courageously toward a relationship that is essentially cherishing. I will create an environment of respect and dignity for all individuals and couples no matter who you love or how you identify.
Attendance and Participation
This is a dynamic workshop where all participants can expect to dialogue, role-play, and put concepts into practice. You will interact with other participants in both large and small group discussion. Be prepared to engage fully in this workshop. Please arrive on time and plan to remain until the close of each day. Please return from scheduled breaks promptly.
In order to maintain a safe, supportive and productive learning environment, all workshop participants are expected to treat each other, the facilitators, and the workshop space with respect at all times. This includes refraining from any speech or behavior that is disruptive, abusive, hateful, or excessively rude.
If a participant is behaving disrespectfully, the workshop facilitators will first remind them privately of the participation expectations. If the disrespectful behavior continues, the facilitators reserve the right to remove the participant from the workshop, without refund of any fees, in order to maintain a positive atmosphere and protect the experience of the other participants.
For online workshops:
Plan to have your camera on the entire time so that we can be in community with one another.
Be sure you have a reliable wi-fi connection. Check your connections ahead of time to make sure your speaker and microphone are in working order.
Couples should plan to have a second device ready so that they can be assigned to separate breakout rooms during various discussions and small-group practice.
Computers/Laptops are recommended and tablets are accepted. Do not use your mobile phone to attend the online workshop. You will want the largest screen possible to maximize the experience.
Mobile Devices
Power down all devices or set them to silent (no vibration) except when on break. Do not take any pictures that include others without their expressed permission. Recording on devices is not permitted.
Confidentiality
This workshop encourages honest and vulnerable sharing of experiences. I hope all in attendance will show up as their authentic self. In the course of the two days, both the facilitator and the participants may share memories and experiences that are personal. Please honor this sharing by creating a container of confidentiality and support. Anything shared in this workshop, including the names of other participants, should be kept confidential. To put it plainly, what happens in Bootcamp, stays in Bootcamp.
Venue Care and Responsibility
We kindly ask all participants to treat the event venue with respect and care to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. In the unlikely event that a participant accidentally causes damage to the venue, they will be responsible for covering the necessary repair or replacement costs. The workshop facilitators cannot be held liable for any damage caused by participants. By registering for the workshop, participants acknowledge their responsibility to care for the venue and its contents.
